TRUTH ABOUT FISHING – A Sermon

Truth About Fishing – A Sermon

We are all called to fish – whether we want to or not, whether we have the supplies or not, and whether we think we know how to take a hook out or not.  Yes, fishing is hard, yes it is scary, and yes it is messy – but, we are called to do it!  “Come, and I will make you a fisher of men.”  Matthew 4:19

In this sermon there are SIX Ways Jesus shows us how to FISH:

  • STAND
  • NOTICE
  • GO ABOARD AND ASK
  • DEEP WATER
  • HAVE A CATCH
  • GIVE VISION

May the Lord bless you, and keep you, and make His face shine upon you as you go out into a world that is pleading for more people to fish – fish for their names, fish for their hearts, fish like you’ve never fished before  . . .why?  Because your heavenly Father has called and equipped you to do just that . . . happy fishing!

  1. Thanks Sco for putting all of these up. Have been enjoying your blog and I listen to all of the sermons during my daily commute on the train!
