Commit Your Plans (and your boy!)

"It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them."

Any thing that works out -- at the end of the day, the thanks goes to God.

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do,  and he will establish your plans." 

Proverbs 16:3

Love this verse -- HE WILL establish your plans! This weekend we went camping with the Boy Sc0uts.  It was a great weekend.  Hudson is just finishing his 2nd class requirements.  It is a very fulfilling program.  As I watch his work toward these badges and advancements I am reminded two things from these verses:

• I didn't bring Hudson into this world, and God cares more about him than I do!  This is encouraging to me.

• My job is not to push Hudson into things, but rather to commit him to the Lord  and know that God will establish him.
