About
I am currently the Chief Development Officer for Young Life. I have been in other roles — Senior Vice President, Regional Director, and Area Director. I have been involved with Young Life since 1981.
This is my personal blog. It is focused on being intentional about your life, your leadership, and your relationships. My philosophy in life is that we are all given one big gift – time, and how can we be thoughtful and intentional with the time we have.
I write on leadership, life, Jesus, productivity, transformation, and yes, a recipe here and there! Over the years I have met with people who have said, “Can I get a copy of that?” “Where did you find that?” “Could I write that down?” “Would you mind helping me with this?”
The goal of my blog is to increase my ability to help and influence people. I am striving to broaden my influence and, Lord willing, to help others be more intentional about their lives.
My goal is to inspire, help, and hopefully assist you to BE BETTER. If you want to get more from your life, your relationships, your leadership – then this blog is for you.
My goal is to blog as often as material seems to present itself.

Hello! I’d like to contact you at Young Life, but I’m not sure of your email address and didn’t think it right to use your gmail without your permission. I’m interested in connecting about effective fundraising and donor retention for Young Life. Could you let me know the best way to connect? Thanks,
