“It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.”
Any thing that works out — at the end of the day, the thanks goes to God.
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
Love this verse — HE WILL establish your plans!
This weekend we went camping with the Boy Sc0uts. It was a great weekend. Hudson is just finishing his 2nd class requirements. It is a very fulfilling program. As I watch his work toward these badges and advancements I am reminded two things from these verses:
- I didn’t bring Hudson into this world, and God cares more about him than I do! This is encouraging to me.
- My job is not to push Hudson into things, but rather to commit him to the Lord and know that God will establish him.
Just a thought!

Great thought Sco. There is so much internal pressure to turn out kids into mini-me, but that isn’t God’s intention. Very good thought.
