“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2
What does transformation look like?
Here are three pictures from our backyard hillside transformation:
Transformation = Change!
One of my friends once said to me, that “Change = Loss.” He at the time was referring to when there is a leadership change and how there is a grief that goes with that, and a loss.
I wonder if we don’t want to transform or change because it means we will have to “lose” something. In the hillside as our example, the “loss” was a combination of things: money, time, sweat, an organized and cleaned up property. In the end, our loss was good. In the end, our loss was a transformation.
What about you? Where is God asking you to be “transformed?” What beautiful thing is He wanting to do in your life? He knows it starts with some form of a “loss,” but look what He wants to do!
Today . . . let him start transforming!
Blessings,
Eric
